The Dreams in the Witch House

Fall 2020

H.P. Lovecraft (1890-1937) is the most notorious author in the weird fiction genre, but in his lifetime was an eccentric outsider. He published his work in amateur magazines and pulps, dying in poverty and relative obscurity at the age of 46. The Dreams in the Witch House was first published in the pulp magazine Weird Tales in 1933. Part haunted-house tale, part psychedelic fever dream, the story is driven by a vivid cast of characters:

The inter-dimensional witch, Keziah Mason; her terrifying rat familiar, Brown Jenkin; and the sinister Elder deity called Narylathotep. This unsettling trio haunt the dreams of hapless Walter Gilman, the Miskatonic University student who falls under the spell of the ancient Witch House.

Our elegant hardback edition is bound in violet linen with gold foil lettering and decorations, a perfect gift edition for collectors. Eight full-page color illustrations by cosmic horror artist Adam Pernell Deal.
